Makeup and hair artist, Marbella · Portfolio Pro

Ekaterina Slauta

Her work lived in a single Instagram feed. Now it is a portfolio where the level shows in half a minute: disciplines, fashion weeks, magazine features.

01 · The starting point

She does not need to find clients — the industry knows her and work comes through recommendations. What she needed was a place to send a link to. On Instagram the runway shows, weddings, campaigns and personal posts sit in one feed, and anyone who wants to judge the level has to scroll through all of it.

02 · What I built

A minimal portfolio with the work sorted by discipline: runway, editorial, weddings, private clients. Three fashion weeks get pages of their own. Magazine features, experience and training live in one place. A backstage video on the first screen, with a separate vertical edit for phones. Three languages and an admin panel she uses to add new shoots herself.

03 · What changed

She can send the link to a brand or a production company instead of a social profile. It opens and within half a minute shows Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Bvlgari, Vogue, Elle and L’Officiel — no scrolling required.

What the client got

  • Her own portfolio site instead of an Instagram link — one she is happy to send to a brand
  • Work sorted by discipline rather than dumped into a single feed
  • Admin panel: she adds new shoots and features herself, without a developer
  • Three languages — Russian, English and Spanish: an audience from Marbella to Paris

04 · The hard part

A makeup artist's portfolio means hundreds of photographs and the temptation to show every one. The hard part was the edit, not the build: a few works per discipline stayed, the rest came out. The second part was weight — a page of large photographs with a video header still has to open quickly on a phone, so images load as you scroll and the header video is cut separately, vertically, for mobile.
